Is Dessert Karaoke the same venue as Perfect Karaoke?
Yes, it's the same place. Perfect Karaoke simply changed its name to Dessert Karaoke in spring 2026. The address (Eliena Hotel B1·B2, 645 Nonhyeon-ro, Gangnam-gu), the operating team (TEAM HENRY), the staff, and the service all remain the same. We operate as a Type-1 licensed entertainment establishment, fully compliant with Korean law.
How do I book?
Reach us by phone, email, Telegram, or WhatsApp, whichever is easiest. The handles are listed in the site header and footer. Tell us your date, party size, preferred room, and the occasion (corporate hosting, birthday, VIP arrival, and so on), and TEAM HENRY will recommend the right room and bottle/TC arrangement. We handle inquiries in Korean and English, and guests who speak other languages are welcome too.
Do you handle international guests and overseas VIPs?
Absolutely. Hosting overseas guests is one of the things we do best. Henry handles everything in English, from pickup at Gangnam's top hotels (Park Hyatt, Four Seasons, Josun Palace, and others) and restaurants to menu and cultural explanations and the final bill, all in one flow. Most international cards work, and you can talk things through with us before you even land in Korea via Telegram or WhatsApp.
What are the bottle and TC (hostess · host per-hour) rates?
The base whisky starts at ₩130,000 per bottle. For TC, a hostess (아가씨) is ₩130,000/hour and a host (선수) is ₩70,000/hour, and any guest can request either. If you come as an avec (mixed-gender) party, you can request a hostess and a host together. When you order whisky, beer is unlimited and free in every room. Premium whisky, cognac, and champagne are priced separately, and we'll walk you through any time-slot promotions when you book.
How does Part 2 (after-hours) work?
You can extend from the evening session (18:00–01:00) or start fresh from Part 2 (after-hours, 01:00–15:00). If you're already in a room, Part 2 simply carries on from 01:00 with no move and no reset; if you're arriving later, you can come in any time after 01:00. TEAM HENRY stays on-site through the after-hours, so any change to your bottle, TC, or room is handled on the spot.
What are your operating hours? Are you open on holidays?
We're open 365 days a year, no holidays. We open every day at 6 PM (18:00) and stay open until 3 PM (15:00) the next day. The bottle (주대) rate varies by time band: Event 18:00–21:00, Part 1 21:00–01:00, Part 2 01:00–15:00. We stay open as usual on Seollal (Lunar New Year), Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving), every Korean public holiday, and through New Year's.
Is parking available? What about public transit?
Yes, you can use Eliena Hotel's own building parking (rates per the hotel's policy). Public transit is easy too: it's a five-minute walk from Hakdong Station (Subway Line 7), Exit 4. For VIP guests coming from a hotel or restaurant within Gangnam, we can arrange premium vehicle pickup if you ask in advance.
Can you handle corporate hosting and large groups?
Yes. The VVVIP Perrier Suite seats up to 30, and we have several other large rooms to suit the occasion: the L Room (20), CLUB Room (20), and M Room (14). For special requests like recurring corporate dinners, overseas partner receptions, executive events, or a celebrity birthday, just reach out ahead of time and TEAM HENRY will plan the room, bottle tier, and cast to fit.
I'm not sure which room fits our occasion.
Tell us your party size, purpose, and budget, and TEAM HENRY will match you to the right room. As a rough guide: the S Room for a quiet dinner between two, the VVIP Room for refined private hosting of 2–8 guests, the VIP Glass Room for a conversation of around ten that needs a change of mood, the CLUB Room for a high-energy birthday, the L Room for recurring corporate dinners and overseas VIP receptions, and the VVVIP Perrier Suite for large celebrations. A quick message on WhatsApp or a call is all it takes.
What payment methods and corporate receipts do you accept?
We accept both cash and card, and international cards work in most cases. We can issue corporate tax invoices (세금계산서), corporate card transaction records, cash receipts (현금영수증), and simplified receipts, so just let us know at settlement. Please confirm the exact conditions when you book.
Can I bring cake or outside food?
Birthday and anniversary cakes are welcome if you let us know in advance. Outside food and alcohol are generally not allowed, but if there's a real reason, for example a specific item you need to welcome an overseas guest, we'll work it out with you case by case. Mention it when you book and we'll have the room, refrigeration, and any equipment ready.
How is privacy handled for confidential hosting?
Every private room is designed as a fully independent space, so sightlines and noise from outside are blocked. VIP booking details, companion information, and payment records are kept within TEAM HENRY on a need-to-know basis only, never shared externally or reused for marketing. Premium vehicle pickup from Gangnam hotels and restaurants is run to keep your movements out of view as well.
What is a 'hyperpublic' (하이퍼블릭) karaoke, and how is it different from regular karaoke?
A 'hyperpublic' (하이퍼블릭) is a Gangnam-style room karaoke where you sing in a private room while professional companions (hostess/host) look after the table. Unlike coin karaoke, it bundles the room, bottle service (주대), and companion time (TC) together, which makes it a good fit for group nights, business hosting, and a second round. At Dessert Karaoke, the 주대 and TC are posted as fixed, transparent rates.
Can I sing English, Japanese, or Chinese songs?
Yes. Along with Korean hits, our system carries a wide range of English, Japanese, and Chinese songs, so international guests can sing to their heart's content. If there's a track you want, our staff will queue it up for you right away.
Is it safe for a first visit? Any rip-offs or surprise charges?
Yes. Pricing is fixed and posted, the same for everyone, and we tell you the estimated total before you settle, so there are no rip-offs and no surprise charges. We state the bottle (주대), companion (TC), and waiter fees clearly, and you can run your own estimate with our calculator before you visit.
How far does physical contact go?
We operate as a licensed Type-1 entertainment establishment in full compliance with Korean law, and we do not allow any illegal activity. Our focus is simply on a fun, relaxed time. For specifics, feel free to ask Henry when you visit.
I want to see reviews. Can I trust them?
Honestly, in this industry online reviews and star ratings are often planted by brokers, so they're hard to trust. That's why Dessert Karaoke does not fabricate reviews.
